Position Overview
The Client Operations department works closely with Avero's food & beverage customers to help them make key operational improvements within their business. As a Client Operations Associate at Avero, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and communicating opportunities to our clients while supporting them in realizing their business objectives. Avero's clients expect intimate knowledge of the global hospitality industry, strong interpersonal communication skills, and excellent analytical abilities.
To that end, we have developed the Avero Management Program (AMP), which will prepare you for success at Avero and introduce you to the fundamentals of each department within our Client Operations team. Your time in AMP is designed to provide an introduction o many of the skills you will need to excel within the company:
1. Analyze Food & Beverage data using Avero's cutting edge techniques and tools
2. Develop meaningful symbiotic relationships with executives and managers within our clients
3. Learn and disseminate the best practices of our clients
4.Advise clients and provide recommendations for operational improvements
AMP consists of two separate components:
Avero University: A two-week intensive learning & development program designed to provide you with an introduction to the tools you will need to succeed in our fast-paced environment. Avero University will cover everything from general corporate skills to product training to relationship management.
Avero Job Rotations: A five-to-seven week rotational program offers a condensed education in all aspects of the Client Operations department. The rotations will include immersive learning within each of the following groups:
- Food & Beverage Analysis
- Account Management
- Client Services
- Product Management
- New Business Development
After you have completed AMP you will begin an apprenticeship period (typically five to seven months) consisting of on-the-job training within our Client Operations team.
Responsibilities
Assist hospitality leaders to improve the guest experience and increase their revenue and profitability
Support executive and line-level usage in Avero Slingshot
Build relationships with clients from all facets of the hospitality industry
Research and analyze trends in the global hospitality industry
Possess strong analytical skills to help clients determine ROI from use of software, and present those opportunities to Avero's clients
- Create a set of standard templates that can be used to track/measure the effectiveness of pricing and ROI best practices
- Create database of best practice templates to be used in calculation of benefits and hospitality operational benefits
Requirements
Candidates must have a strong passion for the hospitality industry
Experience in some of the following environments is required: casino food and beverage management, table service restaurant, or hotel food and beverage management
Must be able to interface with all levels of client management to guide them through Avero's processes towards a return-on-investment
Excellent verbal, written communication and analytical skills required. Ability to analyze and present findings from quantitative data
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills are mandatory with the ability to organize track and manage projects from conception to implementation
A mastery in Excel and an understanding of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook is a strong plus
Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities and schedules
Ability to work with multiple departments, peers and internal/external management
Must be highly energetic to meet the challenges of a dynamic operation
Relocation may be required to the Las Vegas office
Travel may be required for this position
Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree in Hospitality Management a strong plus
